Ragan Robertson
Background and Experience
Ragan brings more than 15 years of experience in university technology transfer and startup ecosystems. His background spans a wide range of business and operational functions, including license negotiations, project management, business development, marketing, patent prosecution, policy development, operations, compliance, team leadership, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Ragan has held key roles within the technology transfer offices at Columbia University, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Most recently, he served as a business development officer, where he played a central role in building partnerships and translating academic research into commercial opportunities.
His expertise covers a broad range of technology areas, including prostate oncology, immunology, dermatology, cardiology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, software, and diagnostics. Ragan earned his PhD from Columbia University, where his research focused on the interaction of Rad51 with DNA at the single-molecule level.
