Nichole Straub

Background and Experience

Nichole brings over 15 years of experience across academic medical centers, higher education, and industry, with deep expertise in research operations, financial strategy, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to MIT, Nichole held leadership roles at Boston College, Pfizer, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she partnered with scientific and administrative leaders to improve systems, streamline complex processes, and support research and innovation at scale. Nichole enjoys working in collaborative, solutions-oriented teams while leveraging technology and data to modernize research operations and drive operational excellence. In addition to leadership roles, Nichole has also supported ERGs for both Caregivers and Women's Career development. She holds a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University.
