Background and Experience

Micah joins the TLO from the Dana-Farber Innovation Office. As Licensing Manager there, he helped bring the Institute's cancer research out of the lab and toward patients. He evaluated new inventions, built commercialization strategies with investigators, and negotiated licenses with startups and company partners. He also identified new revenue opportunities and developed new licensing templates for the institution. His expertise spans immuno-oncology, cell therapy, RNA therapeutics, metabolic diseases, and aging. Beyond Dana-Farber, Micah co-invented the world's first lysosome-mediated RNA degrader platform for next-generation oligonucleotide therapeutics. He co-founded Lamprna Therapeutics around this technology, helped secure the company's venture capital deal, and shaped its R&D strategy and early-stage innovation efforts.

Micah earned his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, where he studied the genetics of axon regeneration, aging, and host-microbial metabolism. He also holds an MS in Molecular Exercise Physiology from UC Davis, where he studied how skeletal muscle adapts its fat metabolism to exercise and nutrition. As an undergraduate, he studied biology, minored in music, and was a Division I full-scholarship swimmer.
