Background and Experience
Carissma is a graduate student in Aeronautics and Astronautics, dual with Technology Public Policy at MIT, supported by the MathWorks Simulink Fellowship and GEM Fellowship. She is developing her SM thesis and an upcoming paper on intellectual property in the space industry. Her research focuses on the intersection of IP, territorial management, and proactive learning within international space collaborations, specifically examining projects like the Roman Space Telescope.
With a background in physics and astrophysics from Howard University and research experience in gravitational microlensing, Carissma leverages her expertise to address challenges in aerospace engineering and public policy.
