Intellectual Property Education at MIT
The TLO engages in a variety of educational efforts within the MIT ecosystem including hosting seminars on technology transfer and intellectual property topics of interest, serving as guest lecturers in MIT classes and seminars, and participating in student and departmental entrepreneurial competitions as judges or reviewers.
If you would like to request someone from the TLO participate in an MIT seminar, class, or competition, or if you have suggestions for a seminar topic of interest that the TLO could provide, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Independent Activities Period:
MIT observes a winter break from classes in January during what's referred to as the Independent Activities Period (IAP). MIT departments, faculty, and staff offer an array of for-credit and not-for-credit courses during this period, many of which are open to the public. Please see the IAP site for more information about these courses. To browse the TLO offerings, please see http://mit_tlo.eventbrite.com.
