Tod Woolf joined the TLO after spending more than 25 years at early-stage biotechnology companies developing nucleic acid and biologic products, and partnering with Universities and biopharmaceutical companies. He founded Sequitur in 1996, which was acquired by Invitrogen (now Thermo Fisher) in 2003.  He co-founded and took RXi Pharmaceuticals public with Craig Mello in 2006.  He served as CBO and CTO at X-Body BioSciences, which was acquired by Juno in 2015, and co-founded ETAGEN Pharma with Rick Hogrefe in 2014.  His teams developed mRNA Therapeutics™, STEALTH RNAi™, Self-Delivering RNAi™ and Therapeutic Editing™.  Tod has a bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and received his Ph.D. in Biology from Doug Melton's lab at Harvard University.
